Size alteration is a super-power. It represents an individual's ability to adjust the mass and volume of either themselves, another person, or an inanimate object(s). Most often this is an internalized power, but may also be generated through a mystical or scientific process. Size alteration is usually found in media of the superhero fantasy genre.

Examples[]

  • Amazing Adventures 6: An alien named Krogg uses technology to turn a village really small. Doctor Droom drives him away and turns everything back to normal.
  • Astonishing 10 - A scientist's assistance knocks over a shrinking formula and reduces himself in height to be tortured by insects.
  • Avengers 153: Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne get tiny in order to fight off a temporarily insane Whizzer. And there is nothing in this galaxy more terrifying than a psychotic Whizzer.
  • Challenge of the Super Friends: Apache Chief grew to the size of a skyscraper, as could Giganta, which made them the perfect match.
  • Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen 53: Jimmy Olsen become the Giant Turtle Man.
