Overview[]
Simon Kragg, also known as Joseph Kragowski, was a member of the United States Army holding the rank of Colonel. Based out of Camp DeSprague, Kragg was tasked with eliminating the X-series of robots, which had gone insane. During a rebellion instigated by these mad automatons, Kragg lost an eye. One robot managed to survive, X-51, whom Kragg doggedly pursued, determined to put an end to him.
Biography[]
Colonel Kragg had a unit employ sonic weaponry to capture X-51 (who was also given the human name Aaron Stack). Suddenly, a mysterious alien Monolith artifact appeared, which released X-51 from his bonds. [1]
Kragg continued to pursue X-51 and encountered him a second time after X-51, now calling himself Machine Man, had saved the life of psychiatrist Peter Spaulding. [2]
Returning to Camp DeSprague, Colonel Kragg received word that Machine Man had become embroiled in a fight with the Hulk. Peter Spaulding arrived to give him an update on the battle, which threatened to level downtown Central City. Kragg called in reinforcements from Gamma Base. [3]
