A Simm-Bot is an over-sized battlesuit used by members of the Metropolis Special Crimes Unit. The suit's design was reverse-engineered and based on technology found within a Kryptonian Warsuit. The SCU recovered the Kryptonian Warsuit tech shortly after Lex Luthor's failed attempt to destroy the city of Metropolis. [1]
They first began using the suits for their agents when Superman began acting erratically after discovering the existence of a dead Superman corpse at S.T.A.R. Labs in Queensland Park. Although extremely durable, the suits cannot withstand being manhandled by an angry Kryptonian.
Each unit contains a command pod within the suit's head where an agent can maintain full control over the armor's weapons systems. The suits are armed with rocket fuel cannons, mini-missiles and strobe-burst weapons. [2]
When Conduit sent his Pipeline agents to assasinate Lois Lane, Lois employed the services of Dan Turpin for protection. Dan piloted a Simm-Bot to drive the operatives away from Lois' position. [3]
