The Simian Supreme Council is a fictional organization featured in the Planet of the Apes multimedia franchise. They appeared on the non-canonical 1975 animated series Return to the Planet of the Apes.
Description[]
The Simian Supreme Council was the congressional body of the Ape society on the so-named "Planet of the Apes. They were based out of Ape City and were administered by a Lawgiver. The organgutan leader Doctor Zaius also presided over the assembly, often sighted with his trusted, if aggressive military leader, the gorilla known as General Urko.
