It is the second comic book title published by Marvel Comics to carry the title Silver Surfer, and is also the second such title to feature the eponymous character of Norrin Radd - the Sentinel of the Spaceways! The story from this single issue was plotted by John Byrne with dialogue and scripting by Stan Lee. Byrne also produced the interior artwork and cover art composition. Embellishment and cover inks were provided by Tom Palmer, Sr., who was also the colorist for this issue. It was lettered by Rick Parker and edited by Jim Shooter. This issue shipped in June, 1982 and carries a cover price of $1.00 per copy (US).
