The Silver Surfer is an American animated television series of the superhero fantasy genre. It is based on the character of the Silver Surfer, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and featured in comic book titles published by Marvel Comics. The Surfer's first animated series was short-lived, spanning a total of only thirteen episodes. A second season of the show went into pre-production, but never materialized. The series was produced by Marvel Entertainment and aired on the FOX Kids network. The Silver Surfer featured the voice talents of Paul Essiembre as the Silver Surfer, Tara Rosling as Nova, Camilla Scott as Shalla-Bal, Gary Krawford as Thanos, John Neville as Eternity, James Blendick as Galactus and Elizabeth Shepherd as Infinity.
