Biography[]
Sharon Ventura was born in Pullman, Washington. As an adult, she became proficient at motorcycle stunt riding and joined a gang called the Thunderiders. During this time, she befriended Ben Grimm, also known as the Thing. A brief romance developed between the two. She later turned her physical talents towards wrestling after being invited to join Unlimited Class Wrestling (UCW). In order to compete with the other enhanced wrestlers however, she had to undergo augmentation thanks to the Power Broker. She later joined Ben Grimm's alma mater, the Fantastic Four. Ben Grimm and Sharon Ventura were forced to hijack a shuttlecraft to escape from Fasaud. They passed through another swatch of cosmic rays. The Thing mutated even further, with his rocky hide forming sharp protrusions, as well as increasing his already impressive strength and durability. Sharon Ventura took on a molten rock-like appearance similar to the Thing's original shape. This experience completely shattered her psyche, and she kept wailing "I want to die!" over and over.
