Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is an American feature film of the action, martial arts, and superhero fantasy genres. It is part of the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe and is the twenty-fifth entry in the series. It was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton with a screenplay written by Cretton, Dave Callaham, and Andrew Lanham. It was produced by Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Productions. It premiered in Los Angeles, California on August 16th, 2021. It opened to nationwide theatrical release on September 3rd, 2021.
