Description[]
A Shadow Cloak is a mystical item of interdimensional origin. It was worn as a cape and possessed the ability to teleport individuals through dimensional portals. The cloaks could also be used to teleport others as well to alternating environments.
History[]
Lore has it, that the Shadow Cloaks were enchanted by Weaver magic by a being known as a Wyrdling. The Cult of Harvester of Eyes obtained a Shadow Cloak and one was used by one of its cult members, the Agent of Fortune. While in conflict with the Defenders, Hellcat managed to take the cloak away from the Agent of Fortune. Hellcat used her psychic training to achieve mastery over the cloak, and used it to send the Cult of Harvester of Eyes leader, Vera Gemini, into another dimension. [1]
Eric Simon Payne, the Devil-Slayer, obtained a Shadow Cloak and used its dimension-hopping capabilities as a member of the Defenders.
Years later, the cloak that Hellcat had used found its way to S.H.I.E.L.D., and Sebastian Druid used it to gather mystical items.
