Sevrin is a fictional mutant and a minor recurring character featured in the original Doctor Who television series. He was played by actor Stephen Yardley and appeared in the six-part serial, "Genesis of the Daleks" from series twelve in 1975, featuring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor. Severin was a member of the Mutos race from the planet Skaro, who served as part of the slave labor force for the Thals. Although most mutos possessed an aggressive disposition against the "norms", Sevrin maintained a more evolved sense of enlightenment and even felt compassion for Sarah Jane Smith, after she had been captured by the Thals and put to work helping to construct a rocket.
