Biography[]

Sentinel 3.14159 was originally constructed in an alternate future timeline referred to as Earth-1191. It came to the present where it attacked the former X-Men headquarters in the Australian Outback, slaughtering the Reavers known as Wade Cole, Murray Reese and Bonebreaker. The sentinel then placed itself into an electrolyte bath, which had an unexpected side-effect on its psyche - it gained sentience. The Sentinel shed its former directives to safeguard all human life in favor of a new objective - the rise of Sentinel life. [1]

Wolverine and Jubilee were dispatched to Australia to investigate the matter and encountered the sentinel at one of Gateway's stationary spatial portals. The sentinel grabbed Jubilee and attempted to enter the portal, stating that it wished to find a reality that serviced the betterment of Sentinel-kind. Wolverine sliced off its hand, thus freeing Jubilee and the Sentinel came out of the portal. Jubilee fought back firing a string of pyrotechnic bursts that caused considerable damage to the Sentinel.

The damaged Sentinel retreated and made its way to the Ant Hill - an old closed down Sentinel factory that had been covered up some years ago following a battle with the Avengers. It discovered the disabled Sentinels that had been left behind by that incident and decided to reactivate them. Now designating itself as 3.14159 - the irrational ratio, the Sentinel reconstituted itself and labored to create a solar flare that would eradicate all life on Earth, thus giving the world over to the Sentinels.
