Notes & Trivia
- The character of Jennifer Walters, aka the She-Hulk was created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema. She first appeared in the first issue of her own Savage She-Hulk ongoing series in February, 1980 titled "The She-Hulk Lives". Following a twenty-five issue stint on this series, she later became part of an ensemble cast in books like The Avengers, Volume 1 and Fantastic Four, Volume 1. This led into her second series, The Sensational She-Hulk by writer & artist John Byrne in 1989. A third title, simply called She-Hulk ran for 12 issues from 2004-2005. A fourth series began in December, 2005 and ran for thirty-eight issues. She-Hulk, Volume 3 - her fifth book, ran for twelve issues from 2014-2015. Another She-Hulk book began publication in 2022.

- One of the conceits of this series that sets it apart from its predecessor, Savage She-Hulk is that Jennifer Walters develops a limited form of cosmic awareness. She can break the Fourth Wall in that she is aware that she is a character in a comic book and that her adventures are chronicled by John Byrne.
- The cover to Savage She-Hulk #1 is seen on the cover to Sensational She-Hulk #1.
- The dialogue balloon on the cover to Sensational She-Hulk #1 shows She-Hulk issuing the following warning, "If you don't buy my book this time, I'm gonna come to your house and rip up all your X-Men". Sensational She-Hulk ran thirty-five issues longer than her original series. The final book, issue #60, shows She-Hulk saying "O.K., kids, we had a deal... now hand over those X-Men comics!" That cover reproduces the original covers to Savage She-Hulk #1 and Sensational She-Hulk #1.
- Creator John Byrne was also writing and illustrating Namor while working on this series.
- The cover to Sensational She-Hulk #34 is an homage to a famous photo taken of actress Demi Moore while she was pregnant, which appeared on cover to the August, 1991 issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
