Biography[]
Finch, first name unknown, was a United States Senator who served during the mid-2010s, and was based out of Washington, D.C., but also made frequent trips to cities like Metropolis. Born on a farm in Kentucky, Finch made several strange claims, such as knowing how to wrestle a pig, and being able to tell the difference between Grandma's peach tea and a jar of piss.
Young industrialist Lex Luthor tried to curry favor with Senator Finch in order to get rights to inspect the ruins of a downed Kryptonian ship. Finch declined this request, thus earning herself a dark place in Luthor's mental rolodex.
Senator Finch was present at the United States Capitol Building to oversee a hearing to determine whether Superman was a benefit to mankind, or a threat. Luthor was expected to be in attendance, but did not show up. However, he made his presence known in two distinct ways: first by leaving a jar of urine on the table in front of Finch (which took her an enigmatically long time to notice), and by planting bomb inside of a wheelchair of crippled Metropolis citizen, Wallace Keefe. As Superman entered the building, the bomb exploded, killing everyone else in the room, including Senator Finch.
