Biography[]
The Wayne murders[]
Selina Kyle was a street urchin living in Gotham City. She was present the night that a masked gunman murdered Thomas and Martha Wayne in front of their young son, Bruce. Selina later met with investigating officer Jim Gordon and gave a description of the gunman. Taking an interest in the case herself, Selina began making secret visits to Wayne Manor, always observing the state of the orphaned Bruce Wayne. [1]
Rise of the Villains[]
In the weeks following the apparent death of Fish Mooney, Selina Kyle decided to move on to bigger and better things. Since the only real power player in Gotham at this time was Oswald Cobblepot, she decided to become a fixture in Cobblepot's empire. Oswald thought she was adorable and regarded her as a pet. [2]
