Self-detonation is a super-power. It refers to the ability to cause one's own body to explode. For those who have a crappy version of this power, this is pretty much a one-time only use. The character of Robert Hunter, aka Nitro from Marvel Comics titles has the ability to detonate his body, whereupon his essence would then revert to a gaseous state and reconstitute itself afterward.
