Sean Maher is an American actor born in Pleasantville, New York on April 16th, 1975. He is best known for playing the part of Doctor Simon Tam in the short-lived Fox Network television series Firefly. Maher appeared in all fourteen episodes of the series as well as the 2005 feature film spin-off, Serenity. In 2010, Maher reunited with Firefly co-star Jewel Staite to play a married couple in the "Mild Mannered" episode of Warehouse 13.
