Sean Cavennaugh is a fictional federal agent and one of the regular cast members on the short-lived CBS science fiction television series Threshold. Played by actor Brian Van Holt, he was introduced in the series pilot episode, "Trees Made of Glass (Part 1)" and appeared in all thirteen episodes of the series, nine of which were originally aired in the United States, with the remaining four episodes airing on Sky1 in the UK. The entire series was later rebroadcast on the Sci-Fi Channel in 2006.
