"Closet of Death!" is the first story featured in issue #12 of the Scary Tales anthology series published by Charlton Comics. Creator credits are unclear on this one, but according to The Grand Comics Database, it may have been written by Joe Gill with artwork and inks by Alfredo Elias. The second tale is called "The Drowned Girl", also possibly written by Gill. It was illustrated by Steve Ditko and lettered by Charlotte Jetter. This issue shipped with a March, 1978 cover date and carries a cover price of .35 cents per copy.
