Working alongside the Cheetah, the Scarecrow disguised himself as Hawkman and sent a fake S.O.S. signal to the Hall of Justice, claiming to be trapped in the swamps and that he needed help. Batman and Robin responded to the call, at which point the Scarecrow removed his disguise. The Cheetah and he captured Batman and Robin and stole the Bat-buggy. [1]
