"Make Way for the Man-Elephant"[]

Danny Ridge and Richard Rory nearly come to blows as they are both in love with Jennifer Walters. Jen pulls Danny aside in frustration and reveals to him that she is the She-Hulk. Feeling a distinction between her She-Hulk persona and her Walters persona, she kisses Zapper and tells him that she can do anything that she wants.

Meanwhile, in order to promote his new Man-Elephant super-suit, Manfred Ellsworth Haller issues an open televised challenge to the She-Hulk. As it turns out, Zapper and She-Hulk are driving down the highway when they encounter the Man-Elephant. Despite the silliness of Haller's costume, the Man-Elephant proves to be surprisingly effective against She-Hulk. He briefly renders her unconscious with gas from his trunk, but She-Hulk quickly revives and smacks him around a bit. They continue to trade blows until She-Hulk grabs him by the trunk and delivers a power-slam onto the pavement. Manfred surrenders. As reporters gather around, he removes his helmet and announces that he is retracting the Man-Elephant suit from production, citing that the potential for abuse is too enormous.

Elsewhere, Buck Bukowski discovers evidence that clears She-Hulk of the alleged murder of motorist Jill Stevens. He reports his findings to Sheriff Walters. She-Hulk is cleared, but she is not exactly grateful to the sheriff's department.

Jen returns home only to find that Richard Rory has packed his bags. Reflecting on his exchange with Zapper, he realizes that he was right and that he was a "loser" who needs to go and find himself. Not wanting to drag Jen down, he says goodbye and closes the door, leaving a tearful Jen to ponder "Where will it all end--?"
