Saurids are a fictional alien race featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They first appeared in Uncanny X-Men, Volume 1 #107 in 1977 and were represented by the character Ch'od.
Description[]
Saurids are sentient bipedal aliens that hail from the planet Timor in the Varanus star system. They are amphibious by nature, are of prodigious size and strength, but are also highly intelligent. The most notable member of the Saurid species is Ch'od, who is a philosopher and warrior as well as the muscle behind the intergalactic freedom fighter team, the Starjammers.
Biology[]
As Saurids are amphibious by nature, they possess both lungs and gills.
There is something about the Saurid brain that renders them immune to the effects of psionic attack. Even a powerful psychi assault will have little to no effect against a Saurid.
