Sasha was a minor character and an antagonist featured in the science fiction television series Andromeda. Played by actress Sarah Deakins, she appeared in the seventh episode of season three, "The Leper's Kiss".
Biography[]
Sasha was a highly reputable assassin who operated in the Systems Commonwealth around the year CY 10089. She was known in many circles by the code name, The Leper. Sasha was hired to assassinate an important Commonwealth dignatary named Marshall Man-ka-lupe on the planet Lundmark. Aware of the pending assassination attempt, Marshall assigned Captain Dylan Hunt the task of ferreting out the Leper and preventing the assassination. When Dylan first encountered Sasha, she posed as the Leper's sister and tried to gain Dylan's trust so that he could transport her to Lundmark. Hunt eventually learned the truth however and Sasha was arrested. Despite failing to kill Man-ka-lupe, the Leper did succeed in breaking out of prison. [1]
