Biography[]
Sarah, maiden name unknown, originally hailed from Chicago, Illinois. She married a man named Daniel and had a daughter named Barbara. In 1988, Sarah earned the attention of creepy neighbor Charles Lee Ray, who developed a deep and dark fixation with Sarah. Sarah was eight months pregnant with her second child at the time. After husband Daniel died in a mysterious "drowning" incident, Sarah found herself the target of Charles Lee Ray's affections. He abducted her, brought her to a private lair, and tied her down, insisting that she, her daughter and unborn child were now going to be a part of his family. Before he could take any further action however, he heard the sounds of police sirens outside. Believing that Sarah had somehow contacted the police, he flew into a rage and stabbed her in the stomach, with the intent of killing her child. Charles later engaged in a shoot-out with Chicago police detectives, which resulted in the demise of his corporeal form. Moments before dying however, Charles used his knowledge of voodoo mysticism to transpose his soul into the body of a Good Guys doll named "Chucky". As Chucky, Charles Lee Ray would embark upon a reign of terror for many years to come.
What Chucky didn't know at the time, however, was that Sarah survived the stabbing incident. She gave birth to a daughter that she named Nica and left Chicago. Although both mother and daughter survived the stabbing, it was not without cost. Nica was born paraplegic and would have to use a wheelchair for mobility as she grew up.
Twenty-five years later, Sarah and Nica were living in an old Victorian home at 5867 Golden Oak Road in Highgate, Rhode Island. Sarah never told Nica about what happened prior to her birth, but Sarah continued to carry the trauma of her experience with her, and tried to work through it through her art.
In 2013, Chucky learned about Sarah as well as Nica. Wanting revenge, he arranged to have himself shipped to the Pierce residence. Sarah was unaware of Charles Lee Ray's future career as a killer doll, and as such, paid little mind to the unattractive Good Guys doll that was delivered to her.
That evening, Chucky came to life and went into Sarah's room. He stabbed her in the abdomen with a pair of scissors, then threw her body over the second-floor landing.
