Sara "Pez" Pezzini, also known as Witchblade, is a fictional police detective & superhero and the main character in the Witchblade multimedia franchise. She was created by writer and artist Marc Silvestri as well as writer Brian Haberlin and artist Adam Robert McDaniel. She first appeared in her own four-page back-up tale in the Cyblade/Shi: The Battle for Independents one-shot special, which was published by Image Comics under their Top Cow Productions imprint in August, 1995.
