The San Lobo Juvenile Detention Center is a fictional location featured in the Locke & Key series of comic book titles published by IDW Publishing. It first appeared in Locke & Key #1 in February, 2008. The San Lobo Juvenile Detention Center was a prison for juvenile offenders located in Mendocino County, California. A high school student named Sam Lesser, having been influenced by the malefic spirit of a being known as Dodge, murdered Rendell Locke. He was arrested and sent to San Lobo Juvenile Detention Center for rehabilitation. Even there though, the spirit of Dodge continued to manipulate him.
