Samantha Finn is a fictional spy and a minor character featured in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer multimedia franchise. Played by actress Ivana Milicevic, she appeared in the season six episode, "As You Were". Though this was the character's only television appearance, she did appear in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Riley one-shot comic book issue by Dark Horse Comics in 2010. She also appeared in four issues of the Angel & Faith comic book series in 2014.
Overview[]
Samantha Finn was a super-spy who once worked in the Peace Corps. Her days with the Corps ended after a demon slaughtered everyone in the hospital infirmary where she worked. Leaving the group, she relocated to South America, where she met Riley Finn - a former commando who once belonged to a top-secret government response unit known as the Initiative.
Samantha and Riley fell in love and were soon married. They briefly returned to Riley's old stomping grounds in Sunnydale, California, but also tried to make a peaceful life for themselves in his hometown of Huxley, Iowa.
The quiet life was not for them however. The allure of the super-spy world called to them and they became soldiers in a battle against the forces of the supernatural.

- The character of Samantha Finn was created by writer and director Douglas Petrie based on concepts developed by Joss Whedon.
- Actress Ivana Milicevic is no stranger to the supernatural fiction genre. In addition to playing Sam Finn, she also played an Amazon named Mist in the two part "Valhalley of the Dolls" episode of Charmed, as well as a period film actress in the 1999 remake of House on Haunted Hill, which also featured Ivana's Buffy husband Marc Blucas in a cut scene, as well as actor James Marsters, who plays Spike on Buffy in the beginning of the film.
