Samantha Ferris is a Canadian film and television actress and former news reporter. She was born in North Vancouver, British Columbia on November 2nd, 1968. Her first acting work was playing a reporter in the "Paper Trail" episode of Viper. In 1999, she played Doctor Raulley in two episodes of Stargate SG-1. In 2000, she played Alice in the "Mabus" episode of First Wave. From 2005 to 2006, she played NTAC director Nina Jarvis on The 4400 appearing in 23 episodes in total. In 2007, she played Pollux in the "Dirty Hands" episode of Battlestar Galactica. In 2010 and 2011, she appeared in three episodes of V, another relaunch of a classic sci-fi brand.
