Sam was a police detective working out of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was present with a pawnbroker known as Gramps when the seemingly deceased corpse of Omega the Unknown arrived at a Vegas morgue. (Defenders 75)
Hulk[]
Another character named Sam was a middle-aged male and the proprietor of Sam's Diner in Santa Fe, New Mexico. One of his customers was Bruce Banner, who complimented Sam on his burgers. (Hulk Vol 2 21)
Spider-Man[]
Sam was an agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Along with another agent named Lou, Sam decided to privately investigate a string of unsolved cold case murders. While skulking about a back alley, they ran afoul of Greg Salinger - the new Foolkiller. Salinger utilized the same disintegration beam as his predecessor and killed Sam. When Lou tried to flee, he fired a shot at him as well, killing him. (Amazing Spider-Man 225)
Werewolf by Night[]
Sam, short for Samantha, was an attractive blonde-haired girl from Los Angeles, California. She was friends with Clary Winter and found herself smitten by a local beach boy named Jack Russell. Sam used all of her whiles to put the moves on Jack, but Jack, being a werewolf, was concerned with larger matters. (Werewolf by Night 12)

For the Hilltop Colony resident, see Samuel. For the young boy from Alexandria, see Sam Anderson. Sam was an African American male in his apparent early thirties. He was a survivor of the zombie apocalypse and lived in the community known as Woodbury in the U.S. state of Georgia. Sam and his ally, Bruce Cooper encountered Glenn and Andrea outside of a Wal-Mart near a National Guard station. Andrea shot Sam in the head. (Walking Dead 39)
