Salt Lake City is an American city in the U.S. state of Utah. It is the state capital and the most populous city in Utah. Its name is often shortened to Salt Lake, or abbreviated to SLC.
Actor Roy Gordon was born in Salt Lake City on January 15th, 1896. Roy is best known for his appearances in films such as Attack of the 50 Foot Woman and War of the Satellites. Another actor of this era who hailed from SLC is Paul Langton. Langton was born on April 7th, 1913. He played a doctor in the "Where Is Everybody?" episode of the original The Twilight Zone. Actor Parley Baer, who has appeared in episodes of The Flash, Land of the Giants, My Favorite Martian and Star Trek: Voyager was born in Salt Lake City on August 5th, 1914.

In the continuity of DC Comics, Salt Lake City was the site of a S.T.A.R. Labs facility. Scientists Tina McGee and Bill Schmitz worked out of this facility for a time where they assisted Wally West in the study of his powers. Salt Lake City was the site of an attack perpetuated by a strange electro-robotic creature known as the Kilg%re. [1]
