The Saak'ak is the proper name attributed to a fictional space ship featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. It first appeared in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 1999.
Description[]
The Saak'ak is a Lucrehulk-class battleship designed and utilized by the Trade Federation. It was stationed at the blockade of the planet Naboo in 32 BBY.
History[]
Jedi Order members Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi came to the Saak'ak to help work out a trade dispute with the Federation. Viceroy Nute Gunray, secretly under orders from Darth Sidious, sent out his Droidekas to kill the Jedi. Jinn and Kenobi fought through the droid ranks and managed to sneak onto a landing craft that was bound for Naboo.
