Biography[]
Russell Thorn was a psychopath and a serial killer. In 1969, he murdered five people in the Venice area of Los Angeles. He escaped from prison in May, 1981 and laid claim to another eleven victims in the neighborhood of Mar Vista. He attacked people residing at 3664 Mountain View Avenue. Russ Thorn's reign of terror ended when neighbor Valerie Bates was able to fight him off by cutting his hand off with a machete and then slicing him across the abdomen. Resident Trish Devereaux finished him off by picking up the machete and running it through his stomach.
