He has worked on several genre projects, particularily horror films such as The Ring, The Ring Two and The Grudge. His first work in the sci-fi genre was the 2007 body snatcher film Invasion. In 2008 he co-produced the movie Quarantine, which capitalized on the survival horror trend of films such as The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity.
