The Roughhouse Gang is a fictional organization featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and made a single appearance in Werewolf by Night #6 in June, 1973 titled "Carnival of Fear!"
Description[]
The "Roughhouse Gang" is the informal appellation describing a group of unionized truck drivers operating out of the San Fernando Valley. On the evening of a full moon, several men were enjoying drinks at a truck stop called the Lame Duck Inn. Two of their number, Charlie and Mac, took note of somebody skulking about their rigs. Gathering the other men together, they went outside to confront the suspect and began attacking him. A man named Howie swung a piece of wood at the werewolf, who retaliated by slashing him across the front of his shirt. Another name Arch urged his confederates on until they realized that they were not fighting some loner in a fright mask, but an actual werewolf. With that revelation, they all dropped their rudimentary weapons and fled the scene.
