Rom is an alien character featured in the Star Trek television franchise. Played by actor Max Grodénchik, he was a recurring supporting character on the TV series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He was introduced in the series' pilot episode, "Emissary" and made 36 appearances in the series in total. The character has also been featured in several spin-off media projects including novels, comic books and video games.

- The character of Rom/Star Trek was created by director David Carson and teleplay writers and producers Rick Berman and Michael Piller based on concepts originally developed by Gene Roddenberry.
- Not to be confused with ROM, the Galadorian Spaceknight from the ROM comic book series by Marvel Comics.
- Married the Bajoran Leeta on Stardate 50975.
- Was active in the Bajoran Resistance to the Cardassian/Dominion occupation of Deep Space Nine.
- Eventually succeeded Zek as the Ferengi Grand Nagus after 2375.
