Biography[]
Roger Parsons was the son of inventor Paul Parsons and his wife, Gloria Parsons in the early 1910s. Paul invented a special gas-powered balloon conveyance and tested it on a maiden voyage from the East Coast with a destination of reaching across the other side of the country. Somewhere in the American midwest, a man named Brand Braddock shot down the balloon. The resulting crash killed Paul and Gloria, but baby Roger survived.
The baby was discovered by a successful gold prospector named Nugget Ned who raised the child to adulthood. Roger set out on a quest to avenge his parents murder, using a bow and arrow. His arrowheads were forged from the golden nuggets that Nugget Ned had collected all his life. Because of this, local Native American tribes took to referring to Roger as the Golden Arrow.
