Biography[]
After blowing up a warehouse with pumpkin bombs during his fight with Spider-Man, the Hobgoblin took off in his battle van. Spider-Man clung to the vehicle and managed to get inside. The vehicle's auto-guidance system sent the van off Pier 83 into the Hudson River. The two continued to fight, and the Hobgoblin's finger lasers set off a self-destruct console. He seemingly died in the explosion. [1]
