The Rocket Racer's rocket board is a fictional technological device featured in comic book titles published by Marvel Comics. It is the property of the reformed supervillain known as the Rocket Racer and first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man, Volume 1 #172 in September, 1977.
Description[]
Rocket Racer uses a jet-powered skateboard with gyroscopic stabilizers, and magnetic boots that keep him attached to the board. The skateboard also adheres to vertical and inverted surfaces. The board is cybernetically controlled via the Rocket Racer's head-set. The device was invented by Phineas Mason, aka the Tinkerer, who is known for supplying many members of America's supervillain population with their high-tech gadgetry. Robert Farrell, the Rocket Racer, also contributed some modified designs to the board as well.
