Robots is an American computer animated feature film of the science fiction genre. It was directed by Chris Wedge and Carlos Saldana with a screenplay written by David Lindsay-Abaire, Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel based on a story treatment by Ron Mita, Jim McClain and David Lindsay-Abaire. The movie was produced by Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios and premiered theatrically in the United States on March 11th, 2005. Robots features the voice talents of several notable actors including Halle Berry, Mel Brooks, Drew Carey, Paul Giamatti, Greg Kinnear, Jay Leno, Stanley Tucci and Robin Williams. Ewan McGregor provides the voice for the film's main robot character, Rodney Copperbottom.
