Robot Wars is an independent movie of the science fiction genre with an emphasis on the dystopic future and giant robot film tropes. It was directed by Albert Band with a screenplay by Jackson Barr based on an original idea by Charles Band. The film is considered a quasi-sequel to Robot Jox, though the respective stories from each film are unrelated. It was produced by Full Moon Entertainment and premiered on April 28th, 1993.
