Notes & Trivia[]

  • The character of Alex Murphy, aka RoboCop, and all related concepts were created by director Paul Verhoeven and writer Ed Neumeier based on a story concept by Michael Miner. The original film series consisted of three theatrically released feature films, plus a remake film in 2014. There have also been two animated spin-off series, as well as two-live action series.
  • President Poledouris was likely named after Basil Poledouris, who was the music score composer on RoboCop.
