RoboCop: Prime Suspect is an American comic book limited series of the science fiction and action genres. It was published by Dark Horse Comics and ran for four issues from October, 1992 to January, 1993. The series is based on the RoboCop multimedia franchise. The series was written by John Arcudi with artwork by John Paul Leon] and inks by Jeff Albrecht. It was colored by Matt Webb with lettering by Clem Robins. The series was edited by Barbara Kesel with Edward Martin, III as assistant editor.
Detroit is used to the antics of Insane Izzy - an eccentric electronics entrepreneur famous for his RoboCop bashing. Now Izzy lies dead, shot by RoboCop's gun -- a gun only he can fire. What can a cyborg cop do to clear his name, when even his memories can be tampered with, and when suspension from the force means they can shut him down?

- The character of Alex Murphy, aka RoboCop, and all related concepts were created by director Paul Verhoeven and writer Ed Neumeier based on a story concept by Michael Miner. The original film series consisted of three theatrically released feature films, plus a remake film in 2014. There have also been two animated spin-off series, as well as two-live action series.
- "Prime Suspect" is also the title to episode 1x03 of the RoboCop: The Series live-action television program.
