Robin Lord Taylor is an American film and television actor. He was born in Shueyville, Iowa on June 4th, 1978. His first credited television work was playing a character named Jimmy in the "My Maharishi Is Bigger Than Your Maharishi" episode of the American remake of Life on Mars in 2008. In 2013, Robin became one of many such actors to find themselves fleeing from flesh-eating zombies on AMC's The Walking Dead. He played a character named Sam and first appeared in the season four episode, "Indifference". Sam met a grisly end in season five's "No Sanctuary". Beginning in 2014, Robin's career took a major boost when he began playing the oddly whimsical Oswald Cobblepot on NBC's Gotham. Known as the Penguin, Robin adds his name to a list of actors for this role that have previously included Burgess Meredith and Danny DeVito.
