A road worker is an individual employed by a municipality to conduct maintenance and repairs on roads and highways within their district. Road workers appear in the HBO television series True Blood. In season one of the show, Jason Stackhouse is shown to be the foreman of a Renard Parish road crew. His employees include his best friends Hoyt Fortenberry and René Lenier.
