Ro-Bear Berbils are a fictional robotic race featured in the ThunderCats multimedia franchise. They were initially seen in the 1985-1989 ThunderCats animated series, but have also appeared in the expanded universe including comic book titles published by Star Comics and WildStorm Productions.
History[]
The Ro-Bear Berbils were a race of ursine robots that hailed from the planet Ro-Bear. Years ago, they immigrated to Third Earth and established themselves in the Berbil Village. They befriended another group of alien expatriates, the ThunderCats of the recently destroyed Thundera, who had now headquartered themselves at Cats' Lair.
Mumm-Ra once tried to infiltrate the ThunderCats' circle of trust by digsuising himself as a Berbil. [1]
