"Rising Stars" is the untitled zero issue that serves as a prelude to the Rising Stars ongoing comic book series published by Image Comics under their Top Cow Productions imprint. The story was written by J. Michael Straczynski with artwork by Keu Cha and Dave Finch. It was inked by Jason Gorder & John Livesay and colored by Liquid!. Lettering was by Dreamer Design's Dennis Heisler. The story was edited by David Wohl with assists from Sonia Im. This issue was a free promotional Wizard give-away and released in March, 1999.
