A Rigellian Recorder is a fictional robot featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They first appeared in issues of Thor in the mid 1960s.
The Rigellian Recorders were developed by members of the Rigellian alien race. They were utilized to analyze and gather data and transmit it back to their masters. They also served as companions to ambassadors and allies of the Rigellian of the Empire. One recorder of note accompanied Thor during his dealings with the Rigellians as well as Ego the Living Planet. Another Recorder became the companion of Hercules during his cosmic adventures.
