Rico Dredd, often referred to as just "Judge Rico", is a fictional law-enforcement officer featured in the Judge Dredd multimedia franchise. Often presented as an antagonist, he first appeared in the story "The Return of Rico" from 2000 A.D. Prog 30 in September, 1977. The character also appeared in the 1995 feature film, Judge Dredd, where he was played by actor Armand Assante.
