Friday the 13th[]
Rick was a young man who lived in southern New Jersey in the early 1980s. In 1983, he spent the summer dating a woman named Chris Higgins. This was the same summer that Chris was attacked in the woods and narrowly survived being killed by a demented maniac. Whether Rick was aware of this trauma or not is unclear. The following year, Rick reconnected with Chris at her family's farm at Higgins' Haven. Rick immediately began acting sexually aggressive towards her, but backed off after Chris rebuffed him. She wanted to take things slow, but Rick was not quite as patient as Chris when it came towards rekindling the old magic. Chris had returned to Higgins' Haven with several friends, one of whom was a prankster named Shelly Finkelstein. Rick let Shelly and a girl named Vera borrow his Volkswagen Beetle to run into town for supplies. Later that night, Jason Voorhees - the same deformed stalker who had attacked Chris the previous summer, returned to the isolated area to claim more victims. He found Rick outside the main house and grabbed him by the head. He crushed his skull with such intensity that it made Rick's eye pop out. (Friday the 13th Part 3)
