Biography[]
Richard Lenk lived in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Wendy Lenk. When an alien spore began infecting the human population of Earth, turning them into the submissive minions of an alien intelligence, Wendy Lenk was one of the few who were immune to the effect. She immediately suspected that something was wrong with her husband, when he suddenly began acting strangely. While he was normally violent and abusive towards her, he was now calm and cold. The family dog, Bobo, suspected that something was amiss, and began barking wildly at Richard. Richard broke the dog's neck, then took it outside and threw it in a garbage can.
Wendy consulted with her psychiatrist, Carol Bennell. She cryptically told her "my husband is not my husband", and tearfully recounted the incident with Bobo. Shortly after their session, Richard Lenk came by Carol's office in search of Wendy. Carol told him that she was not there and calmly stated that he was going to wait for his wife. Clearly, this is irrefutable evidence that one is a pod person. Nobody is going to wait for their spouse all day at a shrink's office.
