A revolver is a handgun that uses a revolving chamber to discharge bullets into the barrel. They were common weapons used in the 19th century, in particular the American southwest. Also known as a "six-shooter", revolvers of this era are most commonly scene in stories of the Old West, or in Victorian-era London.
